PPG is also an A/B member to Sedex. Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, is a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to driving improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains.
We are an Australian Packaging Covenant (APC) signatory with set plans to minimize our footprint on the environment and committed to best practice initiatives. Our National Approved Supplier program ensures compliance from all of our suppliers both locally and overseas. This ensures our strict requirements for QA systems and processes are closely followed. It ensures PPG sources and chooses the right supplier for the product in question and end use requirements.
PPG has a Senior Management Risk Committee to oversee all aspects of Risk and Governance within the Pro-Pac Group (PPG) companies. The committee meet and report to the board on a quarterly basis. Our National Recall and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) are externally and internally tested annually to ensure the continuity of supply and the assurance for our customers and other stakeholders are met. Our dedicated Compliance and QA team is always looking at best practice initiatives and ways to improve our systems and processes.
